This cute little 3/4 by 1/2 inch piece of tumbled Australian peanutwood looks like a rabbit running very fast. Backed by a copper bail, hanging on a copper chain, it has beautifully rich tan and brown colors. Chain is 20 inches.
Australian peanutwood is wood that has holes bored by sea creatures. The sea creature died and the sand and sediment took over. Covered by the ocean for about 120 million years, it became petrified, leaving it to look like peanuts in toffee or chocolate.
